Miguel De Caro has brought his music all over the country, with countless live shows, appearences in local radio and TV and in  well known theaters like San Martín and Alvear.
Among other distinctions, he has been nominated  for the 1993 ACE award (The National Show Critics' Prize) for his first recorded workdc9.jpg (51725 bytes) "Saxotangueando", sharing the pool with Astor Piazzolla and Raúl Garello. He was also nominated for the 1995 Estrella de Mar award in the "best live show" category, this time alongside singer Susana Rinaldi and trumpeter Fats Fernández.

Both his Argentina's and Brazil's live performances and his recordings have obtained excellent reviews in local , Brazilian, Italian and US media.

In 1997, following a request of  the Placido Domingo Foundation, he composes a tune honoring the great tenor in the 25º anniversary of his first performance at the Colon Theater. The song was published by the EMI Record Label and was played in a dinner gala attended by the honoree.

Miguel De Caro's two Cd's to date, "Saxotangueando" (1993) and "Tangofuerte" (1998) show him at his peak. The single "Tiempo Fuerte", written by Raúl Garello, included in his last work, is being used as a theme song in several TV and radio shows.

Besides his continuous gigs, and his teaching agenda (for which he is requested and recognized as an authority in the field), Miguel De Caro's current plans include to show his talent  overseas.
